Injectable Dermal Fillers

Injectable fillers are approved by the FDA for cosmetic injections into sub dermal facial tissues.

Injectable fillers are administered to our Dallas patients to diminish wrinkles and aging lines of the face such as the nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines), and marionette lines (sad mouth corners).

Injectable fillers can also be used to improve cheek volume and contouring of the chin.

Does it matter what kind of dermal filler is used?

Dermal fillers vary greatly. Many currently exist in the market, each with their own specifications, indications, and side-effect profile. As so many variables exist, please consult with Dr. Kassir in his clinic in Dallas to determine the filler or fillers that best suit your needs.

Can they be used anywhere on the face?

They have been used in more than 3 million treatments in over 70 countries to correct a variety of wrinkles. They are currently indicated in the U.S. for the treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, corners of the mouth, chin lines, and scars.

How long does it last?

The fillers are proven to deliver long-lasting results. Studies have shown that the effects generally last for about six months, but this varies according to the filler, the indication, and the patient.

How often should I have filler injections?

Treatments are typically scheduled at six-month intervals; volume of fillers will vary from patient to patient. Please be sure to consult Dr. Kassir about recommendations for follow-up treatments.
